We are excited to introduce you to The Grace House of Tennessee - a transitional home for women. We have felt called by God to establish and run this home for women who have been struggling in their lives and have no family or home to which they can return.
This is a two-year program, which will be tailored for each individual's need, offers guidance and support in employment, schooling, financial responsibility, life skills, community involvement, personal care and spiritual growth. Upon graduating from The Grace House, these women will be self-sufficient; living independently of any federal or state assistance; enrolled in school and/or employed. The Grace House is intent on showing these women that they do not need to live on the street or take the public assistance path; that they can, indeed, rely on God and the strength and wisdom He gives them.
We understand this request that God has so graciously asked us to obey will not always be easy. There will be some heartache and disappointments. But there will be more times of successes and joy that comes from watching a person's life change through Jesus Christ. We are incredibly humbled and honored that God has chosen us for this amazing journey.
However, we also realize that we cannot do this by ourselves! We will have to rely on the community, our friends, our families.....you. We hope that you will be joining us in this amazing adventure. As this process moves on, we will need your help and prayers. Please pray that we continue to listen to God for His wisdom and guidance; pray that we continue to be trusting and faithful to Him. Pray, that as we move along, God's whispered voice will be heard and the needs of The Grace House will be unselfishly met. Lastly, please pray for the women who God is already preparing for us; pray that they are kept safe, that they listen to His voice, and they hold on to that last shred of hope until they find their way to the Grace House.
